In several schools, student support courses are arranged by teachers. Purpose: to revise the basic subjects and to admit the students healthily within three weeks after the classes resumed.

At the Center for Integrated Education and Training for the Deaf and Hearing Benaja, support lessons have begun. Madame Dialga, born Albertine Lougué, is responsible for the students in the first year of the intermediate course: French, calculations and problem solving are the subjects on the program.

“Support classes are very, very important,” she insists, “because it helps children improve their level of French, math and all the subjects that can be done in class.”

Outdoor Activities These classes are not offered free of charge. You have to pay 5,000 CFA francs for the month. At the primary level, all classes are open and the lessons run from 7:30 to 12, on working days. “We do grammar and conjugation lessons, we do exercises,” explains this young student. We do calculations and since yesterday we wrote a draft. “

These support courses are not only intended to revise the lessons, they also serve as spaces for leisure activities according to Laurent Dipama one of the teachers: “When parents go to church, the children are left to themselves. So they do not know where to go, sometimes it is also bandit. With such a framework, it can allow parents to be sure that where their children are, they are safe. ”

These support courses for primary and secondary classes in many educational institutions are a kind of warm-up before the classes resume in September 2021.
