the well being disaster is developing in Madagascar
In Madagascar, the Minister of Health announced on Thursday, April 1, that the country was following the facility for the Covax unit. Meanwhile, the second wave of coronavirus plunges the country into an increasingly serious health crisis, with 15 deaths recorded in 24 hours, on Wednesday 31 March.

If the figures seem low – around 25,000 cases for 433 deaths since March 2020 – they are still dramatic compared to last year and with the capacity of hospitals that has not changed since then.
Overwhelmed for three weeks, a doctor in the capital says that there is enough oxygen for patients who flock to the severe form of the disease due to the variant.
The lack of oxygen was confirmed by the Minister of Health on Thursday. An order for generators was made, as soon as possible, via a tender procedure, according to his statement.
Caregivers are also exhausted, as testified by Jerisoa Ralibera, president of the Paramedics Association. They “fall like flies”, warns the latter.
New measures were taken in the Council of Ministers. This is the case with the closure of schools for 15 days, the resumption of treatment centers and a redistribution of patients between basic health centers (CSBs) and hospitals.
The President of the Republic will speak this Saturday, April 3 at 8 pm to make an assessment of the situation.
