Several suspects were arrested in connection with a withdrawn assassination attempt on Madagascar’s president Andry Rajoelina, the country’s prosecutor’s office said on Thursday.
Two French people are among several people arrested on the island in the Indian Ocean on Tuesday “as part of an investigation to undermine state security”, the Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported, citing diplomatic sources.
