Faisal Warabe Blasts Waddani Party for Fueling Hargeisa Airport Chaos

“Our kiddos are getting used. Politicians, who say they speak for the people and wear tribe scarves, exploit the vaccination funds,” Warabe remarked.

He backed Osman Omar Dool’s arrest, arguing Dool’s a dangerous guy and that locking him up actually keeps him safe.

“For his protection, we stepped in. Without intervention, he could’ve been killed. The Nationalist Party’s backers can’t just shut down airports,” Warabe declared.

Warabe also blamed Waddani for scheduling their politician’s arrival right when an American team was leaving, a team here to look into matters in North Western of Somalia.

A throng of upset youths in Hargeisa protested on Friday against Dool’s arrest. The Isaaq clan’s Grand Sultan, Sultan Daoud Sultan Mohamed Sultan Abdiqadir, addressed them, insisting Dool be freed within 24 hours and hinting at repercussions if that didn’t happen. Abdikadir assured the youths that Dool was safe and pressed for accountability for those behind his arrest.
