For the twenty personalities who signed the declaration, along with more than three hundred others on the internet, the transition carried out by the Chadians does not tell.

The former Minister and Deputy Chairman of the African Development Bank, Bédoumra Kordjé, is one of these personalities’ spokespersons. “The current negotiations and attempts to set up the Transitional National Council, without real consensus, are not just a solution but will be a source of frustration and division of the country.”

We must review the transitional charter unilaterally issued in April last day, the day after Idriss Déby Itno’s death and whose provisions do not allow everyone to participate in a fair way, these personalities argue. As a reminder, the chart defines the terms of the transition over a period of 18 months; a transition led by three bodies: the Military Transitional Council, the National Transitional Council and the Transitional Government.

“We must immediately review the current Charter of the Military Transitional Council to include in particular a provision on the organization of the inclusive and sovereign national conference,” Bedoumra Kordjé continued.

The Chadians will be grateful to the Transitional Military Council if it takes into account the proposals set out in the conversation, add the authors to the conversation saying they fear a deterioration of the political climate.
