Fans Go Wild After Beyoncé Posts a Photo of Her Dinner
Beyoncé fans follow her every move, from jumping on her new music to emulating her show-stopping fashions. However, there’s one aspect of the superstar’s life even the most ardent members of the Beyhive aren’t so sure about: her diet. The Grammy-winning artist recently sparked a social media frenzy with a recent photo of her dinner, and it’s got conspiracy theorists abuzz.
In early June, Beyoncé revealed her meal of choice to her Instagram followers: a sizable selection of food, including two clementines, five pieces of watermelon, four strawberries, and two large bunches of grapes.
“Why the hell is she eating like a rabbit,” asked one social media user, who reposted the photo to Twitter.

In the comments section, fans were quick to share their theories about Beyoncé’s food choices.
“She’s eating vegan again? New era approaching,” said Twitter user @DaneMaurice.
“She’s preparing for a performance :),” added user @SlayEmCharlie.
Others were simply eager to defend their queen. “i don’t appreciate ur tone addressing Beyoncé,” joked Twitter user @DKcallmeKizzy.

While Beyoncé hasn’t confirmed or denied that she’ll be releasing new music or touring in the coming year, she has been vocal about her love of plant-based eating in the past.
Though she admitted to The New York Times she’s “not a vegan,” she’s tackled a 22-day vegan challenge in the past, subsequently becoming a partner in vegan meal delivery service 22 Days Nutrition. “I don’t really cook, but I’m a really good taste tester,” Beyoncé said of the company’s easy plant-based snacks and meals.
While she largely sticks to a plant-based meal plan, she’s admitted in the past that she still joneses for some of the Texas staples she grew up with. “It’s good eating in Texas! I love Cajun seafood at Pappadeaux. The barbecue in Texas is mmmm. So is the Mexican food and the soul food. We ate soul food every Sunday after church. There was nothing better than when a little bit of candied yams got on your oxtail and macaroni,” she told British Vogue in 2020.
