An essential impact of consuming Seltzer water, science says
If you are thirsty, holding an ice cold bottle of seltzer water in your hands raises the expectation that you can not wait to go out. But hydration is not the only major effect of drinking this beloved beverage.
In an upcoming issue of Food Research International, nutrition and dietetics researchers in Canada asked more than 100 study participants to evaluate their sensory perception and emotional responses to carbonated fruity drinks.

You can associate carbonated water with festivities.
Is Seltzer water champagne? In the new study, carbonation increased the participants’ overall liking for the drinks they tested. This is because, as the study’s authors explain, participants ‘identified that they like the mouthfeel and flavor-enhancing properties of carbonated beverages.’ In addition, they “associated them with special events”.

Sparkling water can help you stay “normal”.
As Livestrong points out the scientific journal Medicine published a 2020 article about a study that shared 21 patients with a diagnosis indigestion in two groups. The first group drank carbonated water for a week, while the second group drank tap water.
In comparison with the tap group, the sparkling water drinks noted a significant improvement in indigestion, as well as reduced constipation.

Seltzer can maximize hydration.
Seltzer water can actually be the coolest feature on a hot day, according to a 1994 study mentioned in Medicine review that suggested bubbling water can potentially provide greater moisturizing benefits than flat water.
As Livestrong explains, it’s because “the natural minerals in sparkling water act as electrolytes.”

Seltzer water can help you achieve a healthy weight.
Drinking water in general is a key to losing pounds, and seltzer water in particular can actually curb your appetite. IN a 2012 study of 19 healthy young women, those who drank seltzer water registered greater appetite satiety and higher fullness scores than those who drank flat water or no drinking water.
