Poppy, with a little help from her dad, who is on a quest to secure a Masters victory and complete his career grand slam, managed to sink a long birdie putt on the final hole. “Yeah, very cool,” McIlroy remarked, reflecting on the heartwarming moment.
He continued, “It’s just such a fun afternoon. Being out there with Shane (Lowry), Tommy (Fleetwood), and their families, we’re all very close. Having the kids out there and seeing them enjoy themselves is truly the most important thing.”
