The new Celtic home kit for 2021/22 has been leaked

The new home jersey in Celtic for the campaign 2021/22 has been leaked and offers some subtle differences in their current strip and a minor change in color pattern.

This kit is the second made by adidas for Hoops, after starting its partnership at the beginning of the 2020/21 season, after taking separate paths from New Balance.

And Footy Headlines has revealed photos of the new Celtic shirt, which was leaked by Maskjerseys and shows the famous green and white ribbons that the players will wear next year.

This time, adidas has chosen not to use anything yellow in the shirt, which gives the shirt a simpler but classic look. The shade of green is the same as last year’s edition, and the dafabet sponsor is placed under their logo.

The Adidas logo and the Celtic brand sit on either side of the chest, and the green fades to white on the collar and the edges of the sleeves, compared to last year’s shirt, which boasts a yellow border.

This is a big step in the opposite direction of the manufacturers, as they had originally introduced the yellow shade for the first time since Celtic wore their 2009/10 strip.

The new shirt is expected to be released in May 2021 and will probably cost 90 € when it is sold.

Celtic hope to be more successful in next year’s jersey, having handed over the Scottish Premier League title for the first time in ten years while wearing his virgin adidas kit in his latest sponsorship deal.
