Vladimir Petkovic’s men have not been very impressive so far this summer but started to follow in their footsteps in the latest group game, where they beat the lightest dark horse in Euro history, Turkey.
This is how they should line up.

Yann Sommer (GK) – Sommer has been outstanding so far and put in a phenomenal display against Turkey, but he may need to get even better this time.
Nico Elvedi (CB) – Since Elvedi quietly proved to be an elite defender, he may have already added an extra zero to his price tag and may well push his value even higher before the summer is over.
Manuel Akanji (CB) – No player has succeeded with more progressive berries this summer than Akanji, which is such an important cog in the Swiss machine.
Ricardo Rodriguez (CB) – A left-back from the trade, expects Rodriguez to retain his place on the outside of the three backs.

Kevin Mbabu (RM) – Mbabu put out the Turkey game in favor of Silvan Widmer, so he should be healthy and ready to go.
Granit Xhaka (CM) – A dominant force in the heart of the Swiss midfield, Xhaka has shown exactly why Jose Mourinho wants to take him to Roma.
Remo Freuler (CM) – Keeping Denis Zakaria out of the squad is not easy, but Freuler has been far too good to let go.
Steven Zuber (LM) – Zuber did well as a fullback against Turkey and should keep his place here, where he hopes to give Benjamin Pavard something to worry about.
Xherdan Shaqiri (AM) – Shaqiri, who is Switzerland’s top scorer in major tournaments, only needs one goal to become his country’s leading scorer in the Euro.

Breel Embolo (ST) – We have not seen the best of Embolo since his unpleasant performance against Wales in the opening, but this is the perfect time for him to turn the switch again.
Haris Seferovic (ST) – The prolific Benfica hitman finally got the deterrent against Turkey and will look at a few more goals before the summer ends.
