Everton Secures Dynamic Forward Ndiaye from Marseille

Everton’s transfer activities continue as they snap up Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille’s roster. The playmaker inked a deal valued at £16m. Ndiaye, waving the Senegalese flag, has pledged allegiance to the Toffees for the next five years. This acquisition marks Everton’s third of this window, following Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa and the return of Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds.

Last year saw Ndiaye leave his childhood club, Marseille, having previously shone in the Championship with Sheffield United, where he only scored thrice in Ligue 1 last term. Everton is keen on Ndiaye recapturing his Championship form that once spearheaded Sheffield to promotion. During that golden season, he was a standout performer, netting 14 goals with 10 assists, and dodging defenders with 111 completed dribbles.

Ndiaye shared his eagerness on evertontv, proclaiming his thrill to join Everton and his readiness to dazzle and hustle on the pitch. Sean Dyche’s side is starving for offensive prowess. They lingered near the bottom with a scant 40 goals last season and fell short of expected goals, tallying 15 less than projected from their chances.
