Uncertainty had loomed over Earps’ tenure at United as her contract dwindled, despite being linked with heavyweights like Arsenal and PSG.

This past Saturday, after a five-year stint and 125 matches with Manchester United, the Euro 2022 champ announced her departure.

By Monday, she had inked a two-year contract with Les Parisiennes in France, who were edged out by Lyon for the Premiere Ligue title last season.

“We aim to thrust the club into the limelight and fulfill our supporters’ dreams,” stated the steadfast goalie of the Lionesses.

“My ambition is to elevate PSG’s prestige as one of Europe’s footballing elites,” she added.

Despite United putting a more lucrative offer on the table, Earps was swayed by the promise of competing at the highest level for trophies.

Last season, United ranked fifth in the Women’s Super League, but triumphed over Tottenham with a 4-0 score in the Women’s FA Cup final, securing their first major silverware.
