Chelsea broadcasts news: Livramento arouses interest
Chelsea prospect Valentino Livramento is attracting interest from both Europe and the Premier League.
The 18-year-old right-back, who is also at home and plays further up the flank, is considered one of Chelsea’s brightest prospects and was even awarded the title of “Youth Player of the Year” last season – and joined such recipients as Mason Mount, Reece James and Billy Gilmour.
Goal report that Chelsea are very keen to extend their current one-year contract, but the European champions’ attempt to sign Inter’s Achraf Hakimi has obviously led the teenager to commit to the club, although it looks like Pars Saint-Germain will eventually land the Moroccan wingback.
The report suggests that RB Leipzig, Southampton and Brighton are the latest clubs to consider the teenager and join Aston Villa and Milan, whose interest has already been confirmed.
The transfer speculation surrounding the Chelsea youth player is understandable when you look at his statistics for the club’s U23 side. During the last two campaigns, Livramento has played 46 times for the Blues’ reserve team and registered 21 goal contributions (four goals and 17 assists).

The teenager was twice named on the bench for Premier League games by Thomas Tuchel – for matches against Arsenal and Manchester City – but has so far failed to make an appearance for Chelsea.
The club will reportedly prioritize the acquisition of a world-class striker this summer, although a right-back may also be targeted when Cesar Azpilicueta enters the twilight years of his career. Livramento fits the position to a tee, although such a gamble is unlikely to be taken by the reigning Champions League winners.
Given Chelea’s history of sending players to the loan market, it seems to be the most likely outcome if the Blues can tie the young Englishman to a new contract.
