If military cooperation between the two armies is resumed fairly quickly, it is also thanks to the intervention of the other G5 Sahel member states. Mali, in the fight against terrorism, occupies an important place and it was necessary to return to normalcy in order for joint military operations – which show results – to be resumed.
Several interviewed experts add that Bamako needed this resumption of joint operations but also Paris. According to our information, starting this week, Malian and French soldiers should start hunting together, on the ground, the jihadists.
