journalist Amadou Vamoulke is back in court

Unfortunately, it is a sad record for a camera journalist who will appear for the fiftieth time before these judges. 1600 days of detention without trial, a case that is not progressing, the reports that had a mandate within the framework of the investigation and which completely released Amadou Vamoulke from the accusations against him, were hidden. We are very far from the law we are in a trial that is political, we are bitter towards the former director of Cameroon’s public radio and television because he is someone who has shown throughout his career that “a certain spirit of independence, of great professionalism , of a certain ethics. And at one point it was considered that he was not loyal enough to the regime, we tried to push him aside and the ugly machine was set up to crush him. It is very difficult to stop it. There is no reason to the fact that Amadou Vamoulke has continued to be imprisoned without being tried for 4 and a half years now.
