Somalia, she noted, has struggled with violent extremism, civil war, political intolerance among others, but noted that there were many positive things that have been recorded in recent days, adding that Britain will work closely with Mogadishu by support various development projects.

“It is my honor and privilege to take on the role of British Ambassador to Somalia. The history between Britain and Somalia is long and deep. Somalia may have encountered challenges in recent times, but there is tremendous progress that we have all noticed, ”she noted.
