Amnesty Worldwide condemns “unchanging repression” in Cameroon
In current weeks, following the mass demonstrations on September 22, which have been massively repressed, we now have obtained sentences. There are individuals who have been sentenced to jail in civil courts and even worse, folks have been despatched again to the navy courtroom in Bafoussam, once more simply because they wish to display. It must be borne in thoughts that sentencing civilians to navy courts is totally opposite to the directives and rules of the African Fee on Human and Human Rights.
