A deadly freight train collision on a railway bridge in Germany sent two wagons crashing down onto a street below overnight, authorities said.
The impact knocked the two wagons off the bridge, scattering them on to the road beneath.
One person died.
German news agency dpa did not identify the victim. The crash happened in Munich, and the cause of the collision was not immediately known.
Munich police said the street under the bridge has been closed and asked drivers to steer clear of the area as recovery crews and clearing operations continue.
Dpa reported that the derailed goods wagons were not carrying cargo, and officials said there was no danger to public safety.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
