At least Seven Lives Lost in Suicide Bombing Close to School Polizia Near Mogadishu

Mogadishu (AX) — In a tragic event on Thursday, a suicide bomber tore through a destitute village near the School Polizia in Mogadishu, leaving a trail of devastation with seven individuals, both troops and ordinary folk, losing their lives. A further half-dozen suffered injuries.

As the clock ticked towards mid-afternoon at 3:27 p.m., Somali law enforcement relayed that six folks were wounded, most nursing relatively minor scrapes.

“The blast rattled the impoverished area where people sought shade beneath trees. A total of seven losses, comprising both soldiers and civilians, have been confirmed,” said a police spokesperson.

At this stage, no organization has stepped forward to claim this heinous act.
