Juventus news: Third package 2021/22 revealed

Juventus have launched their new striking yellow and blue third kit for the 2021/22 season, which is intended as a tribute to the club’s golden era in the 1990s.

The new third shirt from adidas has large blocks of yellow, blue and white, with yellow and blue especially considered as symbolic colors in the city of Turin.

Juve have long known worn yellow or blue shirts when they can not get to the pitch in their iconic black and white stripes, but the 90s stand out in particular.

Bianconeri had both yellow and later blue gears throughout the decade, resulting in three Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies, the UEFA Cup and the Champions League.

It was in the final of the later success in 1996 when Juve wore one of their most famous away kits, a blue jersey complete with big yellow stars on the shoulders, as well as yellow details and trim.

This year’s shirt has the two-color adidas brand, which has been a regular feature in many other adidas-branded third kits for the new season. But the “Juventus DNA” that inspires the design makes it completely unique to the club.

The new Juventus jersey 2021/22 can be bought in all physical Juventus stores at Juventus official online store, on adidas.com/football, or in adidas stores.
