The Minister of Public Health, Eteni Longondo, explains: “We have made a plan in relation to the vaccination campaign, which will also start on 15 March 2021, but unfortunately just before that there were countries that as a precaution suspended the vaccination in them because it was noticed , that there were problems with thrombosis and also with death. To date, there is no evidence that these problems are related to the vaccine ”.

The Minister of Public Health specifies that the Democratic Republic of Congo “as a precautionary measure suspends, postpones the date of launch of the campaign”. The idea, the minister assures, is that “the scientific teams here can analyze the data and that the teams from the Scandinavian countries can come to a conclusion. In case there is no cause and effect in relation to this vaccine … I think we will start the vaccination ”.
