Mogadishu (AX) – Somalia's nominee for the African Union (AU) Chairperson position, Fawzia Yusuf Adam, has revealed that both the Somali government and four regional state leaders are pressing her to withdraw, following a request from Djibouti's President, Ismail Omar Guelleh.
During a Thursday news briefing in Mogadishu, Adam asserted her determination to retain her bid for the AU chair, set for election in 2025.
