Ethiopian Fee on Human Rights
The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission is also investigating crimes and atrocities committed in the province of Tigray. After months of silence, she admits in a report that more than 100 people were massacred in the city of Aksum, which validated the investigations from other organizations such as Amnesty International.

The late announcement of the Ethiopian report on human rights in the middle of the night is not due to chance; the time was calculated only hours later Abiy Ahmed’s long speech. The prime minister acknowledged on Tuesday that atrocities had taken place in Tigray. He also realized that the Eritrean army was beautiful and well-grounded, after months of denial.
Raid
In its report, the Commission points the finger at the Eritrean soldiers, who are guilty of a raid in the city of Aksum that claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians at the end of November. It also validates the conclusions of Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, which were then rejected by the Ethiopian government.
Consequences?
What will be the consequences of publishing this report? Can we expect sanctions? Probably not. Strangely enough, the Human Rights Commission does not recommend legal proceedings or compensation to the victims.
