Increased Injuries Reported at Liverpool Victory Parade, Totaling 109

The number of individuals reportedly injured in the recent Liverpool victory parade crash has now risen to 109, with four people currently remaining hospitalized, according to Merseyside Police.

Last Monday, a car veered into a crowd of Liverpool supporters who were celebrating the football club’s Premier League triumph. Fortunately, there have been no fatalities, yet the ages of the injured range from just nine to 78 years old.

Paul Desmond Sanders Doyle, 53, of Burghill Road in West Derby, has been charged in connection with the incident that occurred on Water Street.

In the words of a Merseyside police spokesperson: “I would like to thank everyone who has been in touch with us so far to provide witness accounts or share any information or video footage. The response has been invaluable in advancing our investigation.”

They further noted, “We have received over 500 submissions to the Major Incident Police Portal (MIPP), and a dedicated team of detectives is diligently reviewing all the information provided. While we appreciate the assistance received thus far, I strongly urge anyone with additional information to come forward as a matter of urgency.”
