When Man Utd will confirm the Jadon Sancho transfer

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Jadon Sancho’s imminent transfer to the club is just paperwork from completion.

After a year of chasing the wing, United finally struck a £ 73m deal to lure Sancho away from Borussia Dortmund, where the 21-year-old underwent a doctor earlier this week before embarking on his euro holiday.

It is fitting that the most protracted transfer of all time takes a long time to complete, but Solskjaer has confirmed that United will soon be ready to announce Sancho as the newest Old Trafford superstar.

“From what I understand only paperwork [is left], small details, hopefully we can announce something, “said Solskjaer (via the Manchester Evening News). Let’s get all the paperwork done and get him over the line and then I can say what I really think of the player. “

Fortunately, it seems that the two teams have stopped talking to each other when Dortmund director Michael Zorc confirmed (via Ruhr Nachrichten) that they have done everything they need to get the sale ready.

“From our side, all things are settled and worked out,” Zorc said. “In my opinion, the transfer is complete.”

From Dortmund’s perspective, they are already trying to spend the Sancho money. Talks are underway with PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen, who is valued at 25 million pounds, although the fee is a bit high for a Dortmund side who have agreed to receive the Sancho fee in part.

United have negotiated a payment plan with Dortmund that sees them leave the German side £ 14.6 million every year for the next five seasons – the duration of Sancho’s proposed contract at Old Trafford.

There had been hopes that Sancho would be introduced as a United player this week, but for unknown reasons things have not played out that way and fans have had to wait even longer to see their new husband.

It seems that we are close to finally ending this saga once and for all. Just a few I should dot and that is to cross.
