Things to know about Slavia Prague going forward
There are many stars who will play in the Europa League quarter-finals this week, but one who may be slightly under the radar (at the moment) is Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima.

The 19-year-old has scored 19 goals and six assists from 34 Slavia Prague appearances this season, which is impressive, safe but not exactly unknown. Keep in mind that 12 months ago he played in the French fifth level and suddenly the perspective changes.
A rapid rise to the top in senior football has meant that Sima is linked to a number of clubs around Europe. Everton recently monitored him, according to reports, while Arsenal were also linked at the end of 2020.

As mentioned, Sima’s achievements in Slavia Prague are so far even more incredible to know how they have come to be.
At the age of 17, he still played local football in Senegal before moving to the French fifth tier Thonon Evian. After leaving France, he moved to the Czech third level in March 2020 – you know, when the pandemic hit – and was confined to months in a rented room in a new country on limited training sessions.
Slavia Prague got Sima wind in the summer and took a point on him after seeing him in a friendly match. After lighting it up for their B-team, he had been promoted to the first team in September and has since become their star man and scored ten goals in his first nine starts.
All in a year’s work.
Sima’s start in 2021 could not have been much better.
After seeing his goal form help Slavia Prague into the Europa League knockout stages – where he beat Leicester – he made his full international debut for Senegal in March.
He’s still only 19. Incredible.
Sima is only six feet one and is not just a typical striker.
His versatility sees that he is mainly used from the right flank, where his excellent running, intelligent pressing and well-tuned runs towards defenders leave him in good scoring positions.
He’s still young and there are certainly flaws in his game, like passing and hitting a man consistently, but having the ability to score while still so early in his career is pretty damn impressive.

Some praise Lionel Messi as a plan, others prefer Cristiano Ronaldo. And if it’s not these two, it could be Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Sima’s ability to make headlines on a regular basis, however, is more reminiscent of the foremost Peter Crouch – we’m just waiting for him to knock out a robot celebration.

It may come as a surprise that Sima and Slavia Prague are in FIFA 21, but they are and you should be over the moon.
Senegal’s international starts at a healthy 71 overall, but is tipped to be able to grow to a rating of 85 and is valued at about 4 million pounds, with salaries of about 500 pounds.
He is the ultimate find for your career situation.
