The Manchester United line-up that will start against Brighton

Manchester United look set to get back on track with another Premier League victory when they face Brighton this weekend at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have won their last two Premier League matches but crashed out of the FA Cup to Leicester in their last match before the international break, so we hope to restore the good mood around the club at the earliest opportunity.

Ole Gunnar Solskjär has doubts about the injury before this game and decisions he needs to make in important areas on the field, but the victory is the most important thing offered here. Here is a look at the starting line that the boss will probably join to get the result.

David de Gea (GK) – After missing the last six games to attend the birth of his first child, it is likely that he will return directly to the team despite Dean Henderson.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) – Only one player has made more tackles than the 23-year-old in the league this season and will retain his place as a first-time defender.

Victor Lindelof (CB) – The Swede left the international camp early to deal with his back injury, but he should be fit enough to start before Eric Bailly.

Harry Maguire (CB) – Maguire is the first name on United’s team magazine in defense and the skipper scored a goal in England in the middle of the week to further increase confidence.

Luke Shaw (LB) – The best left-back in the country this season, he will start and make a huge threat along the wing in this game.

Fred (CM) – The Brazilian had an entire international break to rest and recover and will almost certainly start in a holding midfield role.

Scott McTominay (CM) – McTominay’s box-to-box ability will be a big help for United in this game, he starts.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) – Just one goal and one assist in his last eight United games, they need him to find his hot hand again as we enter the final leg of the season.

Daniel James (RW) – The former Swansea man scored for Wales during the international break and was in decent shape beforehand, so should start.

Edinson Cavani (ST) – With all the doubt about Martial, Rashford and Greenwood, Cavani will lead the line and make sure to add his seven goals this season.

Paul Pogba (LW) – Finally fit again, Pogba got the winner in Milan and presented for France during the international break. He starts in a different role but will be as important as ever.
