Sancho probably bid by agreement

Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.

United are longtime admirers of the England international and had hoped to secure their signature last summer. However, the two clubs could not agree on a fee with the German side who refused to lower their request for 100 million pounds.

The Red Devils resumed their interest in Sancho at the end of last season and were reportedly rejecting a bid of around £ 67 million.

But BILD now reports that the two parties are approaching an agreement after United submitted another bid of 77 million pounds for the 21-year-old.

The German point of sale reports that “an agreement is very likely in the next few days” and, as it looks, we could finally end one of the longest transfer sagas in several years.

United’s quest for Sancho last summer clearly had an impact on the child’s performance in the early stages of the 2020/21 campaign, but after taking some time to step up, he picked up a fantastic 12 goals and eight assists in his 26 Bundesliga outings .

Sancho is widely regarded as one of the best young forwards in European football right now, and if United can reach an agreement with Dortmund in the coming weeks, it will represent a massive coup for the club and give them plenty of time left in the transfer window to concentrate. on other goals.

The Red Devils’ hierarchy has outlined five key areas in their squad that they desperately want to strengthen this summer, with a striker, a defensive midfielder, center-back and right-back on their wish list along with a winger.

Sancho is currently away in international service with England at Euro 2020, but so far he has seen his playing time limited. The Dortmund man has only played once in Gareth Southgate’s side three outings after coming off the bench in his 1-0 victory against the Czech Republic.
