Nuno Espirito Santo wants talks
New Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to meet troubled striker Harry Kane after Euro 2020 but before the England captain goes on summer holiday.
Nuno has been named by Spurs as a permanent successor to Jose Mourinho this week, having previously been in talks with Crystal Palace and Everton since leaving Wolves in May, and his first major task will be to convince Kane that this new chapter can bring it success that the player longs for.
Frustrated by an inability to challenge for big trophies since reaching the 2019 Champions League final, Kane Spurs announced in the final week of last season that he wants to leave the club.
According to ESPN, the Portuguese coach wants to hold talks with Kane to address the matter before the player goes on summer break. He is still currently with England at Euro 2020 and has so far refused to discuss his club time until the tournament is over.

The new manager wants to share Kane’s vision for the team, as well as potential transfer targets, apparently in the hope that he can persuade and reassure the 27-year-old that Spurs can compete.
Timing is key, because if England reach the final on July 11 and Nuno does not talk to Kane immediately afterwards, it could be the beginning of August when the player returns to the club service. It would leave a dark shadow hanging over important preparations for the new season.
It was reported earlier this week that Nuno has made sure that Kane will not be sold without his knowledge. Similarly, if Nuno recommends the club hierarchy that Kane be sold to raise money to spend on a rebuilding of a group, he will have to leave – even though chairman Daniel Levy is determined to keep him in north London for at least a year to.

Manchester City and Chelsea have been strongly linked to a summer strategy for Kane as both clubs are looking for a new striker. But with Spurs unwilling to sell to a rival Premier League side, Paris Saint-Germain is also a possible destination that Kane would be open to.
Moving to Paris would also mean reuniting with ex-Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
