No contact with Kane in the future

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has revealed that he is not currently in touch with the club about his future, and reiterates that his full focus remains on Euro 2020 with England.

A frustrated Kane told Spurs in May that he wanted to leave. When he reached the Champions League final in 2019 aside, his boys team has gone backwards since he signed a long-term contract in 2018 and is now much further away from competing for the big trophies he longs for.

Manchester City, who are now expected to cover a British record deal of 100 million pounds for Jack Grealish after Euro 2020, have been strongly linked to a strategy for the three-time winner in the Premier League. Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked.

Spurs are still determined not to sell but would rather see Kane join a foreign club than let him move to a domestic rival. The player himself is open to going abroad and 90 minutes recently revealed that Paris Saint-Germain is among his favorite destinations as it would mean a reunion with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, with whom Kane is close.

Since Kane made his wish to leave, he insists he is not in touch with Spurs about his future. He has regularly made a point of prioritizing Euro 2020, especially until the tournament is over, and explains that he does not want any distractions and does not regret it.

“I have good luck with messages and such but nothing to do with the personal things with the club really,” Kane told BBC Sport.

“If I’m completely honest, I do not read anything, no media,” he added.

“The most important thing is about us as a group and us a staff and as a nation and when you are in these tournament modes it is sometimes easy to get caught up in other things. But the experience I have had in the last few tournaments, is just to focus on this and do what you can at the moment and do not regret it. ”
