Manchester City open talks with Red Star about teenage star Andrija Radulovic
Manchester City have opened talks with Red Star Belgrade over an agreement to sign 18-year-old winger Andrija Radulovic, who is believed to have been on their radar for over 12 months.
Radulovic is a Serbian youth international and has impressed in the Red Stars academy and has even made a splash in the senior line-up, where he has scored two goals and two assists in 13 games since making his debut in the summer of 2020.
Radulovic caught international attention in the UEFA Youth League last season, netted against Tottenham and created another goal against Bayern Munich a few weeks later.
According to The Sun, it was the performance against Spurs that caught City’s eye in November 2019, and after more than a year of looking for the teenager, club officials finally pulled the trigger and began talks with Red Star in March.
Radulovic is an agile winger who does his best from the right but has filled in anywhere over the attacking line, even spending time as an emergency fullback when needed.

If he joins this summer, Radulovic is not expected to stay at City in the short term. He could be loaned back to Red Star or sent to another site in the City Football Group, which includes sites such as Girona and Troyes in Spain and France respectively.
City’s quest for Radulovic is another example of their desire to highlight some of the game’s best talents. In the Serbian market, City have intercepted youngsters such as Filip Stevanovic, Slobodan Redic and Ivic brothers Luka and Ivan, but it is just one of several countries that City have looted in recent seasons.

Last summer, the Spaniard Pablo Moreno went with the Argentine Nahuel Bustos, Burkinabe Issa Kabore and the Brazilians Yan Couto and Diego Rosa who all sealed moves to City, who have already returned to the Brazilian market this year.
Fluminense winger Kayky has already confirmed that he has moved to City worth £ 9 million, and teammate Metinho is also expected to move to Etihad Stadium in the near future.
