Man Utd predicted the lineup against Leeds

Manchester United’s place in the top four looks like it’s pretty safe, even if Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s men would be stupid to take their foot off the gas given how unpredictable the Premier League has been this season.

The Red Devils go to Leeds on Sunday when the two sides renew their intense rivalry, where Marcelo Bielsa’s side potentially begins to dream of a late pressure for European football after their surprising victory against Manchester City a few weeks ago and draws against Liverpool.

This is how Solskjaer’s side can take shape for the clash at Elland Road …

Dean Henderson (GK) – The Englishman has taken on the role of United’s number one nicely after throwing David de Gea in the breeding order.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) – The Red Devils’ undisputed right-back. Still needs a lot of work on his attacking game but is probably the most competent one-on-one defender in the league.

Harry Maguire (CB) – The skipper is a constant presence in the Red Devils’ backline when he is available and he has done well during a turbulent couple of months at the club.

Victor Lindelof (CB) – Of all the players on the United team, this man has possibly the biggest months ahead of him. With the club reportedly looking for a new center-back partner for Maguire, Lindelof must show that he can handle the task.

Luke Shaw (LB) – What a turn this man has had at Old Trafford. From being publicly criticized by former manager Jose Mourinho to being one of the most important players at the club, Shaw now looks set to start for England this summer.

Scott McTominay (CM) – McSause’s influence on the team has continued to grow this season and Solskjaer seems to have great faith in his ability to break up the game and drive the team forward.

Fred (CM) – By no means a mainstay in United’s midfield but it is rare that Fred is not involved, especially when McTominay is involved from the start.

Bruno Fernandes (AM) – Continued brilliance means that Fernande’s best box office performances are no longer fantastic, they are only expected. That said, he has not set up a goal mix for two league games now – what is he doing ?!

Mason Greenwood (RW) – Has not maintained the form he showed at the end of last season, but four goals in his last three Premier League matches have strengthened United’s grip on a Champions League place.

Edinson Cavani (ST) – Marcus Rashford has not trained properly this week, so that probably means a new start for Cavani – who after a slow start at Old Trafford is starting to find some form.

Paul Pogba (LW) – After lots of fake dawns at Old Trafford, United seem to finally get the real deal Pogba. Has had three assists in his previous three Premier League outings since returning from injury.
