Kevin De Bruyne: Last injury

Kevin De Bruyne suffered a worrying injury and was forced to leave the pitch in Belgium’s European Championship round 16 round 16 with Portugal and now risks missing the rest of the tournament.

The incident occurred during the injury during the first half of the year, when the 29-year-old hit the ground after a heavy challenge from Selecao midfielder João Palhinha. The Portuguese star received a yellow card for tackling, but many thought it deserved a red card.

Immediately after the tackle, De Bruyne saw the tackle and signaled to the bench that he could not continue. The Manchester City star cut a frustrated figure when he left the pitch, aware that he now risks missing any future Euro 2020 collisions.

Belgium can be encouraged by the fact that the talisman was able to leave the pitch without any serious help from the medical staff, but his confidence that he was too injured to play on is far from promising.

The Red Devils won the match 1-0 when he was replaced thanks to a fantastic goal from Thorgan Hazard.

This setback will be a crushing blow for De Bruyne, as he had to be replaced by injury in another key match this season. The midfielder suffered a broken nose and eye contact during Man City’s disappointing 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League final back in May, and he faced a race against time to be ready for Euro 2020.

De Bruyne sat out in the initial group competition for his nation, but returned to make a difference in a 2-1 victory against Denmark on match day two. Once again, the Belgian star may need to watch his teammates from the sidelines in this year’s biggest matches.
