Harry Kane has been part of Tottenham’s team that meets Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
The striker was left out of the squad to face Manchester City on Sunday, with manager Nuno Espirito Santo insisting he was simply not good enough to go up against the team that wanted to sign him for £ 130m this summer.

Nuno urged Kane to continue working to reach the level needed to help the team, and it seems that he may soon be named in Spurs’ 25-man squad for Thursday’s game, which was left to UEFA.
Kane is the only out-and-out striker in the squad, although Nuno also has Son Heung-min, who started at the top and made the winner in Sunday’s 1-0 victory over City.
As noted by The Athletic, Kane had not even returned to full team training before Sunday’s match but is expected to increase his commitment in the coming days, with an appearance in Thursday’s game as his goal.
Kane’s place in the squad comes at the expense of midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and right-back Serge Aurier, who have both been left at home in the play-offs, which will determine which team goes on to the group stage of the Europa League.
Even if Kane does not reach the pitch, the spotlight will remain on him. The striker is still keen to leave the club and join City, who are preparing a bid of almost 130 million pounds to sign him, but sources have 90 minutes confirmed that Spurs are not interested in doing business.

Chairman Daniel Levy’s position has always been clear. He does not want to sell Kane to another English side and would demand a fee of at least £ 150 million to even consider sending him abroad.
With two weeks left in the transfer window, Spurs’ reluctance to sell Kane is expected to grow. Levy does not want the negotiations to drag out late in the window and instead wants City to take the clue now.
