Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has struck out on Son Heung-min after Manchester United’s 3-1 victory against Tottenham, after the forward used a swinging hand from Scott McTominay.

The incident occurred during the first half, with Son going down after getting light contact in the face from the shots. United continued to score, only for Edinson Cavani’s goal to be ruled out for a foul. Shortly after, Son himself appeared on the scoreboard.
Although United continued to earn the three points with a 3-1 victory, Solskjaer still became angry over Son’s actions and criticized the South Korean after the match.

“The game is over,” he told Sky Sports’ remarkable Richard Keys-esque mode. “The game has definitely gone.
“If it’s a clear and obvious mistake, it’s an obvious mistake that he had to look at it. It was a perfectly good goal. We should not be fooled. I have to say if my son stays down for three minutes and he needs “his ten friends to help him up, he will not get food. We were not fooled, the judge was.”
Solskjaer, however, went on to explain that the perceived injustice from the Son incident inspired his troops to victory.
It started us off. [Before the goal] we had played as a team that had played in Europe on a Thursday night [last time out]. Highest reaction, we played some good things second half. We felt the injustice and we showed good character to come back. We can not let these decisions ruin this good season for us. “
“Sonny is very happy that his father is a better person than Ole. As a father you always have to feed your children, it does not matter what they do. If you have to steal to feed your children you steal”

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho responded to Solskjaer’s jib in his post – match press conference in a typically memorable way.
“Let me tell you something first,” Mourinho said. “I’m very, very surprised you did not ask me about it after Ole’s comments about Sonny.
“Because – and I already told Ole this because I met him just a few minutes ago – if it’s me saying player A, B or C from another club, if it was my son, I would not give him dinner. tonight or something like that, what would the reaction be at that level?

“In relation to that, Sonny is very happy that his father is a better person than Ole. Because – I’m a father – as a father you always have to feed your children, it does not matter what they do. If you have to steal to feed your children, you steal.
“I am very, very disappointed. And with me, as we say in Portugal, bread is bread and cheese is cheese, I already told Ole what I think of his comments. And I must say that I am very disappointed. In five , six or seven questions, you ignore the dimension in that comment. “
I see the manager of Tottenham Hotspur explain to the media why bread is bread and cheese is cheese instead of why he has not done well at his job recently

Call us cynical, but we think Mourinho can try to distract us all from another bad Spurs result …
