Jadon Sancho signing is “done”
Manchester United have finally agreed on an agreement to sign Jadon Sancho, and the scorer is expected to sign his contract in the next few days.
The Borussia Dortmund man has been a target for the Red Devils as early as 2019 with the saga dominating several transfer windows.

But after much waiting, Sancho will finally become a United player. According to Christian Falk, he will write words at Old Trafford in the next few days.
As reported by Athletic, he will initially cost United 85 million euros (72.6 million pounds), a fee that makes him the second most expensive English player in history behind the new teammate Harry Maguire which cost 80 million pounds back in 2019.
Sancho’s price tag has long been a roadblock in the negotiations, but as 90 Minutes reported earlier this summer, United were keen to avoid a repeat of the ugly discussions that took place in previous windows. Therefore, this time they have quickly reached Dortmund’s award.
Personal terms with Sancho have long been agreed. 90min understands that he will earn in the range of £ 250,000 per week.
The forward is currently with England’s Euro 2020 team and although Gareth Southgate has not given him much playing time, there is no doubt about his talent. Sancho was only shy of 150 matches for BVB in all competitions even though he was only 21.
During that time he has scored 50 goals and also left 64 assists. The best showing of his career so far came during the 2019/20 campaign where he managed 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga.
The arrival of Sancho is a significant boost for United, who finished 12 points behind champions Manchester City last semester. They are not done strengthening their group yet. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to bring in a center back to partner Maguire, as there are still concerns for Victor Lindelof. A defensive midfielder is also on his wish list.
