England predicted the lineup against Italy
England will win their first ever European Championship when they face Italy in Sunday’s Euro 2020 final.
The Three Lions have found their form at the perfect time and ran through Germany, Ukraine and Denmark in the knockout stages with very few releases, and they will have the support of the Wembley crowd for this significant occasion.
It’s Gareth Southgate’s toughest test so far, and here he can set up.

Jordan Pickford (GK) – Pickford looked a bit shaky at times against Denmark, but he has largely been outstanding this summer and deserves the Golden Glove award that comes his way.
Kyle Walker (RB) – Walker is outstanding against Denmark and has the kind of trophy-winning experience that England will need at the back.
Harry Maguire (CB) – Maguire has so far set a good example and will be sure to keep the Ciro Immobile quiet.
John Stones (CB) – Italy will press relentlessly from midfield, so Stones’ ability to ping the ball over the pitch can be crucial.
Luke Shaw (LB) – Shaw’s work on the left has been impeccable so far, but he will have his work cut out for him against Federico Chiesa.

Declan Rice (DM) – Against Jorginho, as he is constantly compared to Chelsea fans, Rice will know that he needs to put on the style.
Kalvin Phillips (DM) – England need energy from Phillips, who will have to chase Italy’s midfielder from start to finish.
Bukayo Saka (RM) – Italy do a lot of their attacks on the left, so Saka’s defensive work frequency can be crucial in keeping Emerson and Lorenzo Insigne in check.
Mason Mount (AM) – Do not be surprised if Mount is used deeper in a 4-3-3. Italy’s strength lies in midfield, and the Chelsea man’s relentless pressure may be needed to make them worried.
Raheem Sterling (LM) – The show’s star, Sterling, is a leading contender to win the tournament’s best player award. A good show here and he seals it.

Harry Kane (ST) – After a very slow start to the tournament, Kane has recovered at the right time. Will he get the two goals he needs to win the Golden Boot?
