UN raises concerns about increasing number of Sudanese refugees moving to bordering nations

Out of Sudan’s 8.6 million displaced individuals, over 2 million have sought refuge in neighboring nations amid ongoing conflict. Egypt, Chad, and South Sudan have received the majority, while Ethiopia and the Central African Republic have seen smaller numbers. The UN Refugee Agency has issued a call for increased humanitarian aid to support these war-displaced people.
