Somali Education Ministry Launches Ambitious Campaign to Recruit 3,000 Dedicated Teachers

The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Ed is buzzing with the news: 3,000 teachers up for grabs in phase two of Somali teacher hiring,” Mukhtaar announced.

“Top preference for gals! We’re aiming for 30% females in the new batch. The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Ed is stoked to declare the teacher application portal live, starting from 02/07/2024,” shared State Minister Nuura Mustaf.

Last year, the Ministry roped in another 3,000 instructors, now proud members of Somalia’s National Teachers. They’re already spreading knowledge in various schools and institutions overseen by the Ministry of Education.
