Nigeria, often touted as the heartbeat of Africa’s economy, is witnessing the burgeoning innovation that Miele has to offer.

On April 4th and 5th, 2025, Miele heralded a new chapter in Nigeria with the grand unveiling of its recently renovated Experience Centre, situated in the dynamic heart of Lagos. This strategic initiative brings West African consumers closer than ever to a holistic Miele experience.

The event was a distinguished assembly of salient figures, including esteemed business partners, designers, architects, industry experts, and journalists, who were graciously hosted by the Miele Nigeria team at the revamped centre.

Kicking off the event was an exclusive press conference, where Miele endeavored to share its rich history and impactful presence in Nigeria for the very first time. Following this enlightening session, attendees had the pleasure of witnessing a live baking demonstration by Chef Dera Anazodo, an Executive Chef and partner at Jaya Cravings, who specializes in world fusion cuisine, having honed her skills at the International Culinary Center in New York.

One of the standout moments of the inaugural celebration was the ‘Legacy Walk,’ led by Mr. Mouad Benmoussa, Export Development Manager – MEA at Miele. This segment offered an engaging exploration into Miele’s heritage and its trail of innovation.

“We recognize the power of storytelling as a tool to shape perceptions and instigate change. Miele’s legacy is pivotal to our success in Nigeria. By sharing our journey, we aim to ignite conversations about embracing premium, cutting-edge, and sustainable home appliances,” he reflected.

The second day of this momentous event welcomed trade partners, designers, and clients to enjoy a lush evening Reception, featuring a live cooking demonstration by Chef Rahila Lawore, a celebrated entrepreneur and restaurateur, known for her ventures such as Rahila & Co. and her leadership at Canvas Concept Space.

Their participation underscored the event’s significance and commitment to excellence.

Miele’s commitment to the West African market was further solidified by this milestone. The brand remains resolute in its mission to provide Nigerians with home appliances that are not only luxurious but also sustainable and built to endure the test of time.
