Wolves predicted the lineup vs Tottenham

Wolves boss Bruno Lage did not get off to the best start when Jamie Vardy’s first half condemned him to a 1-0 defeat at Leicester City on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The former Benfica boss has the opportunity to correct the mistake this weekend against his predecessor, Nuno Espirito Santo, in what will be his first competitive match in Molineux.

Raul Jimenez is back fit and eager to leave, but there are a number of injuries that worry the Portuguese when he looks down on a Tottenham team that beat Manchester City in the first match. Here is 90min’s predicted home field …

Jose Sa (GK) – Like most of what Leicester City threw at him last weekend, Sa will demand another great performance against a Spurs team undefeated at five at Molineux.

Romain Saiss (CB) -A real threat from regular games, the 31-year-old is an experienced member of Wolves backline.

Conor Coady (CB) – Liverpool academics took over the captaincy of Nuno during his time at Molineux and Bruno Lage will trust that England’s international will set the tone again this season.

Max Kilman (CB) -Wolves most composed defender during their narrow defeat against Leicester City on the opening weekend, the 24-year-old has a bright future ahead of him.

Ki-Jana Hoever (RWB) – Quiet at King Power Stadium, Hoever needs to be more influential in the final third to stretch the game. Ruben Neves (CM) – May have been covered by Leicester’s midfield on the opening day, but Neve’s nap and solid ability will be the key to unlocking Spurs’ defense.

Leander Dendocker (CM) – Wolves improved after their introduction to Joao Moutinho last weekend and the Belgian’s steel in the middle of the pitch will be the key to a physical Spurs midfield.

Marcal (LWB) – A creative threat in an otherwise vicious attacking show from Wolves last time, the Brazilian must continue to offer offensive breadth.

Francisco Trincao (RW) The 21-year-old has plenty of promises, but his first year in Barcelona was overwhelming. Must show the form he showed at Braga if he is to bother Sergio Reguilon.

Raul Jimenez (ST) – Wasn’t it fantastic to see the Mexican return to action against Leicester after his terrible head injury? The goals will follow for Jimenez, do not back down that they start against his old boss ..

Adama Traore (LW) – Wasted his sides ‘biggest chance last week but his pace is crucial to Wolves’ attacking threat.
