Harry Kane is back in training
Harry Kane returned to Tottenham training for the first time since returning from holiday on Tuesday morning.
Kane has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City and earlier this summer he caused a stir by not reporting back to Spurs before the pre-season. The forward was expected on August 2 but instead showed up five days later. Kane insists the delay was planned.

Since returning from a trip to the Bahamas, the England captain has lived in isolation at the club’s hotel on site. He was not named in the squad that defeated City on Sunday, although he reportedly watched from the stands.
Those who did the function had a day off on Monday with Kane training on his own. According to Sky Sports, however, he returned to the group on Tuesday morning. He would probably have received a mixed reaction from his teammates, who were amazed by his failure to return to the club when expected.
Kane will compete in Spurs ‘UEFA Conference League qualifier against Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday after being named to Nuno Espirito Santos’ squad for the meeting. After that, Spurs are facing a tricky trip to Wolves on Sunday.
Kane remains set for a move to City but 90min understands that Tottenham’s position will not soften before the transfer window is over. Spurs have already rejected a £ 100m request and Daniel Levy has insisted his valuable asset is not available at any cost.
City are expected to make a second bid of around £ 130m, although it would likely take at least £ 150m for Spurs to start thinking about releasing Kane. If he leaves, Tottenham will set up a move for Patrick Bamford to replace him, but he would not come cheap.
