The boy stops the game for autograph

It seems like almost everyone wants Erling Haaland’s autograph today.

A few months ago, the Norwegian striker was stopped in the tunnel by an assistant referee after Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League quarter-final with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

The signature was then put up for auction with the proceeds of a Romanian charity that helps young adults with autism.

And on Saturday, a fan could not even wait for the end of the match. Der BVB’s match before the left season against Athletic Club was interrupted at the end of the first half by a young boy who wanted Haaland’s signature.

Dortmund had let in a corner, so Haaland tracked back to defend in his own area – only to stop proceedings when the boy entered the field to approach the productive 21-year-old.

Haaland, of course, forced and escorted the boy from the field, left the fan ecstatic, the audience with radiant smiles and let the judge get things going again.

It’s not just the fans who want the striker’s signature either. Haaland has been the center of much speculation this summer, with a number of clubs interested in attracting him from BVB.

The Norwegian will have a release clause of 75 million euros that goes into his contract next summer, although it currently looks like Chelsea are in pole position to land him early and avoid the inevitable distortion for the player.

The Blues are reportedly preparing a £ 135m bid to test the waters, although 90 minutes earlier revealed the club would be willing to spend up to £ 150m for Haaland, who has picked up an astonishing 57 goals and 15 assists in 58 games for Dortmund. over all competitions since his £ 18 million arrival from Red Bull Salzburg.
