Although they have recently been promoted to Rome’s first team, 90 minutes understands that his performances have been sufficient to attract the interest of a number of Premier League clubs with his future in Italy far from certain.
Recently appointed Roma boss Jose Mourinho is keen to add some midfield experience – with Nemanja Matic already linked with a move to the club – meaning Darboe are unlikely to get the first team football he wants and can look for. after a move away.
Should this prove to be the case, he will not miss potential suitors, with West Ham, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Southampton and recently promoted Norwich all wanting to secure their services.
The interest in the kid does not end there, as Manchester United, Liverpool and Premier League champions Manchester City are also monitoring his progress.
However, Darboe has told his representatives that he wants to play regular football next season and he is aware that a transfer to the above-mentioned Champions League clubs may not give him that opportunity.

The interested parties believe that the 19-year-old would fit perfectly in the Premier League and depending on Rome’s summer transfer business, we could soon see him arrive in England.
Darboe has had remarkable success when she originally arrived in Italy as an immigrant without her parents. Two years after arriving in Italy, he was seen by Roma and after graduating from his youth squad, he continued with his debut against Manchester United earlier this year.
