Russia predicted a line-up against Denmark
A victory against Finland last time puts Russia in a strong position when they look to make the 16th anniversary in Euro 2020.
Qualification is in their own hands; a win or even a draw against Denmark would be enough to send them from Group B.
But Stanislav Cherchesov’s team does not want to leave anything to chance and end their group campaign as strongly as possible with a victory.

Matvey Safonov (GK) – The 22-year-old is already captain of Krasnodar and fired the more experienced Anton Shunin for a starting place against Finland. It would be hard to let him go.
Dmitri Barinov (CB) – His introduction has led to a change to a back three that has really turned Russia’s fortunes. Should start to the right if Cherchesov continues with that form.
Igor Diveev (CB) – Another integral part of the three-to-back form, the 21-year-old was introduced at half-time against Belgium and Russia have not looked back since.
Georgiy Dzhikiya (CB) – Spartak’s captain gives a much-needed experience to a youthful Russian back line. Absolute shoo-in to start.

Vyacheslav Karavaev (RWB) – Mario Fernandes seems unlikely to start after being carried to Finland. In that case, the right-back shift falls to Karavaev, who can provide some of the missing creativity.
Magomed Ozdoev (CM) – The reliable midfielder has only missed two of Russia’s matches since qualifying for the Euro started back in March 2019 and he probably seems to do it again here.
Roman Zobnin (CM) – His physicality and gravel in the middle of the park are an important part of what makes Russia cross.
Daler Kuzyaev (LWB) – A winger, Kuzyaev will give a certain attack verve from the wing-back role.
️ Congratulations! Russia’s soccer national team secured its first victory at @ EURO2020 which won 0-1 against Finland in St Petersburg.

Aleksandr Golovin (FW) – The Monaco man helped seven goals in the qualifiers when Russia stormed to Euro 2020 and he played every minute in the final. One of the first names on the team sheet.
Artem Dzyuba (FW) – The first name of the team magazine. The captain does not miss a game when he is in shape and based on his impressive performance against Finland, he is in shape.
Aleksey Miranchuk (FW) – The Atalanta star’s fantastic strike won the match against Finland and Russia can lean on him for his match-winning quality here.
