The Constitutional Court’s ruling was final. The Court considers that the request of the deposed Governor of Tanganyika, Zoé Kabila, is unfounded. This one did not accept his dismissal by the Provincial Assembly in early May.

Accused of mismanagement and incompetence, Zoé Kabila did not attend the plenary session to investigate her possible resignation. And he had pretended to be in Kinshasa, waiting for an audience with the President of the Republic. But according to the prosecutor, Zoé Kabila has not shown that he is present in the capital.

Suggestion of distrust of his team

In addition, he could have been represented at this plenary session, the prosecutor said. The loss of distrust affected his team and not just the governor’s person.

Thirteen provincial representatives out of 25 in Tanganyika Provincial Assembly voted for the team to resign at the provincial head.
