Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all part of the Champions League semi-final, while Manchester United and Arsenal are still fighting for a place in the Europa League at the same time as they are fighting for the right to leave the competition.

The Danish FA chairman Jesper Moller recently warned these pages that they were facing expulsion from this season’s competition and went so far as to say that he expected a ban to be issued this week, but according to ESPN it is not a way as UEFA continues.
Europe’s governing body is now expected to allow the five rebel teams to retain their seats in the competition, potentially in an attempt to ease tensions between themselves and the breakaway.
UEFA President Alexander Ceferin seemed to add an olive branch to the twelve teams during their 45th Congress and said: “Gentlemen, you made a big mistake. Some will say it is greed, others ruin, arrogance … there is still time to change your all make mistakes. “

It is definitely something for owners of City, Chelsea, Real, United and Arsenal to consider, but for the managers of these sides, the focus will be on preparing for one of the biggest matches of each season.
Chelsea and Real are on their way and City face UEFA loyalists Paris Saint-Germain in the second semi-final of Europe’s best competition.
In the Europa League, United have a date with Roma, while Arsenal are about to be reunited with Unai Emery and his Villarreal side.

However, it is unclear whether UEFA would continue to ban teams for next season. Real president and Super League president Florentino Perez recently insisted it was impossible for them to be banned, but whether that is the truth is still unknown.
Meanwhile, PSG must beat the other teams if they want to get the Champions League trophy. No dividends here.
