Neymar’s agent confirms intention to sign new PSG contract
Paris Saint-Germain forward Agent Neymar has confirmed that the Brazilian plans to sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes in the near future.
Neymar’s contract has been the subject of many rumors recently. With its current deal set to expire in the summer of 2022, most reports have indicated that an extension is on the cards, but it has been enough to say something else to keep fans worried.

Well, while a new contract has not been signed yet, there is reason to be sure when Neymar’s agents told France Football (via AS) that the 29-year-old’s plan is to put pen to paper on a new deal soon.
“Neymar wants to stay at PSG,” said the representative. “He sees that the club is growing. He likes the project.
“He publishes less things on social media because he wants less controversy and attention to him. His main goal is to win the Champions League. He does not think of anything else than that. He wants to show that Paris is a fantastic team.”
This suggests that the reports of an oral agreement between Neymar and PSG may also be true. Fabrizio Romano says that the 29-year-old has agreed to stay until 2026 on a contract that also includes a huge Champions League bonus.
What is less certain is the future of Neymar’s partner, Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman is also approaching the final 12 months of his contract, and while director Leonardo claims he is doing well with the negotiations, there is still a long way to go before an agreement is reached.
“I owe a large part of my happiness at PSG to Mbappe,” Neymar said of his teammate. “He made me learn about the French way of life. He has explained the French mentality to me. I owe a great deal of my adaptation to him.

“From the beginning I got Mbappe’s way of being. Kylian is a very happy and kind person with everyone. He is a fantastic person. He is the reason we understood each other from day one.
“Of course I have had the opportunity to see him train. I have been able to observe his speed, his dribbling repertoire, his intelligence and his humility to keep evolving. I have always said that he was our golden boy. You have to use that speed correctly and Kylian “He’s not only intelligent and fast, he also has an enormous dribbling ability.”
