A statement from the General Authority for Research and Identification of Missing Persons said the two tombs were discovered in the Mashru’a Alrabet area of Tarhuna.
The statement did not specify how many bodies were excavated from the two graves.
According to official sources from Libya, Haftar’s forces and associated militias committed war crimes and genocide during the period April 2019 to June 2020.
New York-based Human Rights Watch (HRW) said more than 300 people had been abducted or reported missing in Tarhuna, which is now back under GNA (Government of National Accord) control.
The Libyan government has repeatedly called on the UN, the International Criminal Court (ICC) and human rights groups to demand an international inquiry into the mass graves.
