We have taken the highest score from each position to create the highest score XI in WSL history.
The best form of defense is the attack, so we have shot them to an outrageously ambitious 3-2-4-2 formation. Let’s take a look at who did the haircut.

Ellie Roebuck (GK) – The Manchester City goalkeeper has never scored a goal in the WSL – but no goalkeeper has ever scored in the division, to be fair. Roebuck is best with the ball at her feet in the top flight so we would back her up to go up for a corner and take a Schmeichel-esque volley.
Steph Houghton (CB) – The England captain has played everywhere throughout his career – from the front, in midfield, on the pitch – before eventually settling into midfield life when she joined Manchester City in 2014. A dead-end expert, Houghton has WSL 18 goals for City and former club Arsenal.
Gemma Bonner (CB) – When it comes to top-scoring halves in WSL, it is largely a matter of longevity. Bonner has traded in the WSL since the start, played for Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City and taken 14 goals in the process.
Gilly Flaherty (CB) – Longtime WSL center-back Flaherty has 13 target for her name. The star of the Squad Goals has reached the mood with Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham – where he won four WSL titles and the Spring Series in the process.

Beth Mead (RW) – Mead made her WSL debut in 2015 with Sunderland and was the division’s top scorer during her virgin top flight season – originally playing as a center-forward. She moved to Arsenal in 2017 where she turned into a winger and continued to score 42 WSL goals.
Fara Williams (CM) – The English midfielder has 41 WSL goals – ranging from penalties to long-distance spectacular – to her name over spells with Everton, Liverpool, Arsenal and now Reading. Williams’ most memorable goal was a world champion from halfway against Birmingham in 2014; a decisive strike in Liverpool’s quest to retain the WSL.
Jordan Nobbs (CM) – The energetic midfielder has been with Arsenal since WSL’s formation in 2011. Nobbs has found the net 46 occasions in the top flight – and which Williams is partial to a long-distance stunning. She scored nine goals during Arsenal’s 2018/19 winning campaign – even though she only played eight times after her season ended in November.
Kim Little (AM) – Scotland’s midfielder has found the net 42 times over two separate spells with the Gunners. Lite was part of the Arsenal team that won the first two WSL titles before retiring to NWSL in 2013. She returned since 2017, just in time for Arsenal to win the WSL once again during the 2018/19 season.
Nikita Parris (LW) – The England game was part of Everton’s inaugural WSL team in 2011, just 18 years old, and moved to Manchester City in 2015 after Toffee’s relegation. Her record of 49 WSL goals are currently there to be shot at, with Parris trading in France with Lyon.

Vivianne Miedema (ST) – Miedema has broken records throughout his football career, and it took Arsenal forward just over three seasons in English football to beat Nikita Parris’ WSL record in the top class. She currently has 59 WSL goals and if she chooses to stay in England, the 24-year-old can put a seriously huge goalie bar.
Ellen White (ST) – England’s World Cup talisman had lined up before Miedema 56 WSL goal thanks to a fantastic first time against Miedema’s Arsenal. White has been in the WSL since the start and has played for four separate sides during that time – Arsenal, Notts County, Birmingham and now Manchester City.
